Is the stock market open on Monday September 1st, 2025? in observance of Labor Day the stock market will be closed on monday. After the holiday, the stock market will be open on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025.

There are mulitple holidays throughout the year where the stock market is closed. It will be closed for the following days for the rest of 2025: labor day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas day. On the NYSE website there are the list of holidays and dates of the holidays that will be oberserved for 2025, 2026, and 2027. NYSE: Holidays and Trading Hours
