Tax Day is April 15th , for all states besides Maine and Massachusetts which are due April 17th, tax season started on January 1st. The first day you can file is Janaury 27th 2025. The deadlines are for payment of taxes or filing of an extension. October 15th is the deadline for payment, if filed for an extension. All during the 2025 year, filing for the 2024 taxes.
Quarterly payments
Federal quarterly tax payments in 2025 are due April 15th, June 15th, September 15th, and January 15th, 2026. There are special rules for the last quarterly payment and should review all information, Individuals 2 | Internal Revenue Service (irs.gov)
